Before the Harry Potter films, wizard rock, Starkid and even Hot Topic merch, there was fan fiction. The fan fiction scene has changed over the years, but there is still a vibrant community for reading and writing fic. With the help of our special guests Professor Melissa "Moonyprof" Aaron and Lauren Johnson of HP-DFW, our Accio Fandom segment will help new fans learn a bit more about the fan fiction world.

This episode also introduces our new co-host, Heather Murphy of the Central Florida Slug Club.

Potterwatch discusses the recent controversy over a magazine interview that quoted JKR's thoughts on some famous ships. Then Heather gives us some updates on the Wizarding World in Orlando.
