Global Social Challenges is one of the strategic pillars of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences. We want to find answers to the biggest problems we face in the world by conducting interdisciplinary research into the most important international questions for our generation. The five major challenges are the climate and energy transition, the global financial crisis, governing future security, population and society, and the legitimacy crisis of international political systems.
