Episode 15: Sustainability at NYFW

Eco-Fashion Podcast at VCU

Welcome back returning listeners and everyone new to the Eco Fashion Podcast at VCU. In today’s episode, our host Natalie talks with our newest podcast team and co-host’s Erika and Chloe! Natalie and Chloe start the conversation off talking about NYFW’s move to a more sustainable fashion week in the future. Natalie and Stephania talk a little about the details CFDA CEO Steven Kolb has in mind for the sustainable future. We bridge the sustainable conversation to hear from Erika who talks about brands already being sustainable on the runway. The three close out the episode by discussing the importance of sustainability and if big designer brands make the move to be more sustainable how it could trickle down to others doing the same. Let us know your thoughts on NYFW’s idea to be more sustainable! Stay updated with Eco Fashion: https://linktr.ee/eco_fashion_vcu
