    SHALOK, FIFTH MEHL: Please grant Your Grace, O Merciful Lord; please forgive me. Forever and ever, I chant Your Name; I fall at the feet of the True Guru. Please, dwell within my mind and body, and end my sufferings. Please give me Your hand, and save me, that fear may not afflict me. May I sing Your Glorious Praises day and night; please commit me to this task. Associating with the humble Saints, the disease of egotism is eradicated. The One Lord and Master is all-pervading, permeating everywhere. By Gurus Grace, I have truly found the Truest of the True. Please bless me with Your Kindness, O Kind Lord, and bless me with Your Praises. Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, I am in ecstasy; this is what Nanak loves. || 1 || FIFTH MEHL: Meditate on the One Lord within your mind, and enter the Sanctuary of the One Lord alone. Be in love with the One Lord; there is no other at all. Beg from the One Lord, the Great Giver, and you will be blessed with everything. In your mind and body, with each breath and morsel of food, meditate on the One and only Lord God. The Gurmukh obtains the true treasure, the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord. Very fortunate are those humble Saints, within whose minds the Lord has come to abide. He is pervading and permeating the water, the land and the sky; there is no other at all. Meditating on the Naam, and chanting the Naam, Nanak abides in the Will of his Lord and Master. || 2 || PAUREE: One who has You as his Saving Grace who can kill him? One who has You as his Saving Grace conquers the three worlds. One who has You on his side his face is radiant and bright. One who has You on his side, is the purest of the Pure. One who is blessed with Your Grace is not called to give his account. One with whom You are pleased, obtains the nine treasures. One who has You on his side, God unto whom is he subservient?     ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੫ ॥ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੈ ॥ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਪੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪਾਇ ਪੈ ॥ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਅੰਤਰਿਵਸੁ ਦੂਖਾ ਨਾਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਹਥ ਦੇਇ ਆਪਿ ਰਖੁ ਵਿਆਪੈ ਭਉ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਏਤੈ ਕੰਮਿ ਲਾਇ ॥ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੈਸੰਗਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਰੋਗੁ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਖਸਮੁ ਏਕੋ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ॥ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਸਚੁ ਸਚੋ ਸਚੁ ਲਹਿਆ ॥ ਦਇਆਕਰਹੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਅਪਣੀ ਸਿਫਤਿ ਦੇਹੁ ॥ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਏਹ ॥੧॥  ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਲੈ, ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਢਹਿ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮਜਪਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ।  (ਹੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ!) ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸ (ਤਾਕਿ) ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਣ; ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ, ਕੋਈ ਡਰਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾ ਪਾ ਸਕੇ।  (ਹੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ!) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਾਈ ਰੱਖ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਉਮੈਦਾ ਰੋਗ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਜਾਏ।  (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਭਾਵੇਂ) ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੇਲੱਭਾ ਹੈ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਭਾ ਹੈ।  ਹੇ ਦਿਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਦਇਆ ਕਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼, (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਨਾਨਕ ਨੂੰ ਇਹੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰ ਕੇਖਿੜਿਆ ਰਹਾਂ।1।  ਮਃ ੫ ॥ ਏਕੋ ਜਪੀਐ ਮਨੈ ਮਾਹਿ ਇਕਸ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਇ ॥ ਇਕਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਪਿਰਹੜੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਇਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ ਮੰਗੀਐਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਲੈ ਪਾਇ ॥ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਇਕੋ ਇਕੁ ਧਿਆਇ ॥ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਸਚੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਇਆਜਾਇ ॥ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਜਿਨ ਮਨਿ ਵੁਠਾ ਆਇ ॥ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹਿ ॥ ਨਾਮੁਧਿਆਈ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਚਰਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਖਸਮ ਰਜਾਇ ॥੨॥ ਅਰਥ: ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਧਿਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਸਰਨ ਲੈਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਾ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਥਾਂ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾਤੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਹੀ ਮੰਗਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹ

    ਟੋਡੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੨ ਦੁਪਦੇ    ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਮਾਗਉ ਦਾਨੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨਾਮ ॥ ਅਵਰੁ ਕਛੂ ਮੇਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਚਾਲੈ ਮਿਲੈਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਰਾਜੁ ਮਾਲੁ ਅਨੇਕ ਭੋਗ ਰਸ ਸਗਲ ਤਰਵਰ ਕੀ ਛਾਮ ॥ ਧਾਇ ਧਾਇ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਉ ਧਾਵੈਸਗਲ ਨਿਰਾਰਥ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਅਵਰੁ ਜੇ ਚਾਹਉ ਦੀਸੈ ਸਗਲ ਬਾਤ ਹੈ ਖਾਮ ॥ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਰੇਨ ਮਾਗਉ ਮੇਰੋ ਮਨੁਪਾਵੈ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥੧॥੬॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ (ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਤੇਰੇ) ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਦਾਨ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ। ਜੇ ਤੇਰੀਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਏ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਹੁਕੂਮਤ, ਧਨ, ਤੇ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਦ-ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ (ਸਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਥਾਂ ਟਿਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿਸਕਦੇ) । ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ) ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਕਈ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੌੜ-ਭੱਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਵਿਅਰਥ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੧। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ-(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਹੀ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੱਚੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂਤਾਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ, (ਤਾ ਕਿ) ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ (ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੌੜ-ਭੱਜ ਤੋਂ) ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ।੨।੧।੯। TODEE, FIFTH MEHL, SECOND HOUSE, DU-PADAS: ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. BY THE GRACE OF THE TRUE GURU: I beg for the Gift of Your Name, O my Lord and Master.     ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਗੁਰ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥ ਜਿਨਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥ ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਵਰ ਦੀਨੇ ॥ ਸਗਲ ਜੀਅ ਵਸਿ ਕੀਨੇ ॥ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥ ਤਾ ਸਗਲੇ ਦੂਖ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੨॥੫॥੬੯॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ) ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ (ਰਾਖਾ) ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਹੈ।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਦੇ ਕੇ) ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਮੇਰੀ) ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!l ਜੇਹੜਾ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਨ-ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੧। ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਸਭ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ-ਜਦੋਂ ਭੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਲਏ।੨।੫।੬੯। SORAT’H, FIFTH MEHL: I am a sacrifice to my Guru.     ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਸਹਜ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਸੂਖ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨ ॥ ਸਦਾ ਸਹਾਈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਗੁਣ ਚੀਨ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਜਗਤ੍ਰ ਮਹਿ ਲੋਚਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਆ ॥ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਭਏ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਛੁ ਬਿਘਨੁ ਨ ਥੀਆ ॥੧॥ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਗੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਦਾਸ ॥ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਵਡਿਆਈਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਿ ॥੨॥੧੨॥੩੦॥ (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਟਿਕਾਉ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਣ (ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਵਿਚਾਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ, ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਜਗਤ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ (ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰਨਾ) ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।੧। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਦਇਆ ਦਾ ਸੋਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਿਸ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਦਾ ਪੱਖ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਜੀਵ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਆਦਰ-ਮਾਣ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।੨।੧੨।੩੦। BILAAVAL, FIFTH MEHL: The Perfect Guru has blessed me with celestial Samaadhi, bliss and peace.     ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਮੋਰੀ ਅਹੰ ਜਾਇ ਦਰਸਨ ਪਾਵਤ ਹੇ ॥ ਰਾਚਹੁ ਨਾਥ ਹੀ ਸਹਾਈ ਸੰਤਨਾ ॥ ਅਬ ਚਰਨ ਗਹੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਆਹੇ ਮਨ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਭਾਵੈ ਚਰਨਾਵੈ ਚਰਨਾਵੈ ਉਲਝਿਓ ਅਲਿ ਮਕਰੰਦ ਕਮਲ ਜਿਉ ॥ ਅਨ ਰਸ ਨਹੀ ਚਾਹੈ ਏਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਅਨ ਤੇ ਟੂਟੀਐ ਰਿਖ ਤੇ ਛੂਟੀਐ ॥ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਰਸ ਘੂਟੀਐ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਉਲਟੀਐ ॥ ਅਨ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਰੇ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਚਰਨ ਚਰਨ ਹੇ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੨੯॥ ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਈ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹੋ। ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਚਰਨ ਫੜ ਲਏ ਹਨ। ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੀ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ) ਤਾਂਘਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭੌਰਾ ਕੌਲ-ਫੁੱਲ ਦੀ ਧੂੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਪਟਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਲ ਹੀ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਪਰਤਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਹੋਰ (ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸੁਆਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੋੜਦਾ, ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈ।੧। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ) ਹੋਰ (ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ) ਤੋਂ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਤੋੜ ਲਈਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇੰਦ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਪਾ ਲਈਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਚੁੰਘੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ) ਪਰਤ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ) ਹੋਰ ਮੋਹ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ, ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।੨।੨।੧੨੯। BILAAVAL, FIFTH MEHL:     My ego is gone; I have obtained the Blessed Vision of the Lord’s Darshan. I am absorbed in my Lord and Master, the help and support of the Saints. Now, I hold tight to His Feet.  || 1 ||  Pause  ||   My mind longs for Him, and does not love any other. I am totally absorbed, in love with His Lotus Feet, like the bumble bee attached to the honey of the lotus flower. I do not desire any other taste; I seek only the One Lord.  || 1 ||   I have broken away from the others, and I have been released from the Messenger of Death. O mind, drink in the subtle essence of the Lord; join the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, and turn away from the world. There is no other, none other than the Lord.
