    The Gift of Feedback

    I’m sure all of us have had times where we didn’t want to hear feedback from someone, but it made a difference for us in the future. Maybe it was a time when you needed to hear that you interrupt your colleagues often at work, or maybe your partner doesn’t get enough words of affirmation from you. Maybe your kids will tell you that you spend too much time answering emails while you’re at home instead of playing with them. Whether we’re at work, with family members, or friends, we get feedback all the time that we can react negatively to, or that we can accept it and implement it. How can we best receive it?     What's on Your To-Don't List?

    Are you optimizing it to the highest productivity that you're capable of? We all have full authority to do what we'd like with our time. You are in control of your life and your 24 hours. But what if you fell off track or that you can't control your time? Whether it's family time, work schedules, or items on your to-do list that are restricting you from accomplishing the aspirations you've set for yourself. Maybe you should think about how to fix your time or items you need to say no to. Or put differently, maybe items you should put on your to-don't list. What's a to-don't list? I'm sure many of us have too many tasks on our to-do list.     Overcoming Your Distractions!

    Are you naturally in the zone and driven to where you're headed? Or do you get sidetracked by other daily obligations that derail you from responsibilities you may need to complete?  Regardless of where we are in life, we each have unique distractions. A task that may come easy to one person may be difficult for another. As our lives are constantly changing these days, new distractions will begin to emerge. Some of you are probably still working from home when you did not expect that to be the case at the beginning of 2020. Since these occurrences can lower our energy and productivity, what can we do to limit and overcome them? The distractions we can control may need slight adjustments, and then those out of our control may take work on our end to manage them effectively.
