Doing The Work To Get To Where You Want to Be In Life

Doing The Work To Get To Where You Want to Be In Life

Join us as Dr. Tiffany Lovelady helps provides us with some essential tools to assist with you in your life journey!

    About Dr. Lovelady

Dr. Tiffany T.  Lovelady, a Jackson, MS-based LPC, NCC, and NCSC clinician, discovered her gift of counsel as a high school student. Genuinely interested in the well-being of others, she often found herself as the sounding board amongst her peers.  While most might shy away from the pressures of such responsibilities, Tiffany embraced it!  Upon graduation from high school, her longing to be of service to others led her to pursue a BA in Psychology followed by an MS in Counselor Education at Mississippi State University.

In August 1999, Dr. Lovelady began her career as a professional school counselor.  For over a decade, she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to enriching the lives of students within the Jackson, Madison, and Hinds school districts.  As she grew within her profession, her desire to expand her expertise led to a position as the Assistant Vice President of Lovelady Enterprises, Inc.  There, she spent several years providing counseling services of varying degrees for a vast population of the community, assessed clients to determine appropriate mental health needs, and consulted with mental health and medical professionals to determine the best course of treatment.

Why Do I "USE My VOICE"

Why Do I "USE My VOICE"

While growing up my teachers informed my parents that I talked way too much. It never failed, every report card would have the checkbox marked..."TALK TOO MUCH..."

My parents would always warn me about my excessive talking. I came from a family of talkers. My fraternal grandfather was a preacher, one uncle was a radio commentator, another uncle would provide horse-drawn carriage tours of the New Orleans French Quarter District where he would "wow" the crowds with his amazing stories and humor.

WE TALKED IN OUR FAMILY. So why would I not want to continue the family tradition?

I felt as if talking gave me life!

Later in life, I found that I had to use my communication for good as opposed to randomly talking. Hence my leap into advocacy.

This podcast will go a little in-depth as to

    Why I use my voice
    The importance of communication
    An overview of advocacy
What I hope to accomplish with this podcast
    Much, much more......
