Disappointing
03/10/2024
This is nowhere near ‘The 6B dollar goldscam’, ‘I’m not a monster’ or ‘Filthy Ritual’, let alone ‘The Lazarus Heist’. The production values are much lower, but more importantly it feels strangely sensationalist and exhausting. Disappointing.
Scorpion - unimpressive
12/05/2024
I found the most recent series ‘Scorpion’ un-nuanced, presenting an overly simplistic narrative from two ‘investigative journalists’ who were too keen, it felt, to forward their own opinions and narrative, and intervene unnecessarily in events they covered, based on anomalies, hunches and half-truths. It’s an irresponsible way to represent a complex issue.
