    Albert is one of the most prolific artists of the last century as he blends art, fashion and commercial photography to create stark, powerful images. His celebrity portraits include Alfred Hitchcock, Steve Jobs, Kate Moss, Prince, Michael Jackson, Andy Warhol and Mick Jagger with his work featuring on more than 100 covers of Vogue. His accolades also include an OBE from the Queen, a lifetime achievement award from the Royal Photographic Society and even a Grammy.

    Albert turned 80 this year and his career spans nearly 60 years. In the conversation he covers his education in Scotland and his later move to Los Angeles and then New York City, where he currently resides.

    In this episode, Nigel Cabourn shares his photographic memories: a photo of the British explorers en route to Antartica in 1952 and an image of his father taken in Burma during WWII.     Nigel Cabourn is an English menswear designer and is a legend in his own lifetime. With over 50 years experience, he has attracted a cult following after developing a unique brand that combines technical workwear, British heritage and vintage military design.

    Over the years Nigel’s amassed a collection of over 4000 vintage menswear items and 6000 reference books which is explored in the conversation along with his passion for music from the 1960s, travel, history and sport.

    17. Ian Treherne shares his photographic memory: the infamous image of James Dean walking across a rainy Times Square, NYC. The photograph was created by Dennis Stock for LIFE Magazine in 1955 and Ian has felt an attachment to the image, the story behind it and the subject since he was a child.

    Ian Treherne is a portrait photographer based in the UK and has a genetic condition called RP Type 2 Usher Syndrome, meaning he is legally blind and deaf. Due to this, he has faced incredible hardship and yet has an attitude of optimism and strength.

    Ian explores these challenges, which led him to depression and suicidal ideation, how he manages to overcome them and discusses a turning point in his life, when he was asked to give a keynote speech at a TED X conference. He has worked with the likes of Rankin, Channel 4 and the Paralympic Games, spreading a message of inclusivity and speaking our for the rights of the disadvantaged.
