This podcast is a space enthusiast’s dream. It is not only a fantastic, clear, compelling production with lots of drama, great spatial music, great crew interviews and original mission recordings, but it also explains the facts in amazing in-depth technical detail. If you want to know what it was like being a fly on the wall in mission control, put on your headphones, close your eyes, lay back and enjoy this total immersion experience, better than life.
Wonderful podcast!

This is truly the best podcast series I have ever listened to. The voice of Kevin is really nice to hear, the stories of both season 1 and 2 are fascinating, the live clips are wonderful and it is so great hearing all the people that where part of the Apollo missions back then. I am listening for the second time now and I enjoy learning more every time. I always reconnend this podcast to others and will keep doing that. Finally, also the great music from Hans Zimmer is a real contribution to the podcast, the music enhances the sense of how great these stories are.

2 years after this podcast was first published I heard about it via National Geographic’s podcast. I logged in and … hooked. Being born in 1966 I have ‘witnessed’ this moon landing. Placed in front of the tv. Certainly I had all the collectibles at the time including the lander standing somewhere in my bedroom. Thank you for making this podcast!

What an epic achievement to revisit history in such an elucidating yet thrilling way that you’re glued to your earpieces and live it as was happening just now. My parents thought I was too toung to stay up in 1969 (booo), so many thanks for facilitating me to re-run the full 13 minutes on every July 20th (start it at 20:02:25 UTC) to relive -in my view- humanity’s greatest technical achievement. Wonderful.
