Laura Kriefman is the CEO at Barbican Theatre; a charity snuggled on the cobbles with young people threaded through their DNA. Laura is open and honest - as you would expect- and we touch on many subjects!! It’s not just about how they plan to break down the barriers of culture in Plymouth but so much more! It was an absolute pleasure to pick her brains and ask some challenging questions! Quick note, there was a huge amount of passion in our conversations in this episode, and there were a few explicits!

    Talking with Tom (the man from the tele)

    Join us for an incredible conversation with Tom Godwin, Chief Executive of Citizens Advice Torbay and Exeter. We talk everything from his background working in the music industry to his political connections, the reasons that he moved to Plymouth and the ways that he gives back to the local community as a Trustee, a Chair of School Governors and as a visiting lecturer.  Those that know him will know of Tom's many facets and the way in which he can breathe life into conversations, and ideas - his bravery and personality is infectious. Be prepared to be inspired and motivated to be a better human, we know that we certainly are.  And of course, there's giggles and the all important conversation about what makes Plymouth the wonderful city that it is.

    Falling in love with Plymouth

    We're back for season two and kicking off with an episode all about falling in love with P-Town with Emily Barratt who moved to Plymouth as a student and loved it so much she stayed to establish her career.  Emily now works for University of Plymouth as a Knowledge Exchange Officer for the iMayflower project and has some incredible hobbies for outside of work from climbing to wild swimming and Half Iron Man Triathlons!  We LOVED chatting to Emily, and hope you enjoy too!
