#27 - Peter Thompson - Skipping To Success
In Skipping To Success, we hear from Peter Thompson, a double world record holder in speed skipping, holding Guinness world records for the most crossovers in 30 seconds and 60 seconds!
After what started as a personal therapy to overcome depression anxiety, Peter started skipping to music and became @skipbeatz_UK, an organisation to motivate and inspire children and young people to exercise to music, demonstrating the qualities to become a champion!
This also led to the creation of a behavioural support programme called @ExBehaviour. The programme launches children into a journey of self discovery and awareness about their own choices, behaviours and attitudes through a diverse multi-sport programmme. This enables Pete to place his much needed own stamp on the education system!
#26 - Jordan Yeates - Vulnerability Is The Birthplace Of Strength
In this episode I am joined by Jordan Yeates. This is one of the most open, real and honest chats that I have ever had with another man.
Jordan is a mental health advocate, a student mentor for the Northampton Saints Foundation and founder of Jordan Yeates Mental Health
When Jordan was at his lowest, he really needed someone that he could relate to, someone to tell him that they understood how he was feeling. After quickly realising just how few men there were being open about their mental health, Jordan wanted to help change that, by opening up himself.
