Really good discussion on Le Carré’s work with interesting guests
This one podcast series I listen again and again. The voice of the presentator is very soothing. What I find professional is that he takes podcasts as medium, which people use while working, lying in bed or walking. Hé takes into account that there will be no sudden change of pace in the discussion, no loud outbursts of hysterical laughter, no screaming, no breathing in and out into the microphone. Thank you very much for that. The analysis of the literary work is well rounded. The guests provide in depth knowledge of the work being discussed.
Some critical remarks: why there is no discussion on Tinker Tailor or Smiley’s people? In addition, I am harsh to say that I cannot bear the Call for the dead episode due to bad sound quality and hysterical tone of the guest.
