the ethics of anti-aging, i’m ranting again
when you're young, birthdays are exciting because it means that you're unlocking new, adult activities. you're unlocking new mature responsibilities. this year, i turned 23 and realized that's over for me. depending on who you are, birthdays after a certain point can become even more exciting or even more daunting. personally, i'm pretty neutral. but i will say that it feels like societally we are afraid of aging. growing up, i saw endless anti-aging commercials - anti-aging facial moisturizers, anti-aging supplements, etc. we've grown up watching people cover up their aging, so i think it makes sense why societally some of us are afraid of it.

Hey Emma! Just wanted to tell you how much i love your podcast❤️ i listen to u every singel day, i love your reflections and meanings, ur podcast and yourself mean the world to me! I live by my self and i always put on a podcast whenever i feel alone. In the morning before college, while i do the diches, when im doing my makeup etc. You have such good reflecions on life and i honestly agree with you on everything. I acually listen to some of the episodes again and again, some of my favorites are break up or no breakup, divorse, healthy relationship, parties and female friendship. Your humor and chill vibes make me feel so calm and at home, honestly every time im having a bad time it always help to put on a podcast and im automaticly more calm, its crazy and soooo meaningfull to me. Im always excited for a new podcast, and cant wait to the next one. I looove ur personality and sillyness, our humor and sarcasm is really similar with i love! Hi. I love ur youtube videos and i recently discovered your podcast. I love it so much. Sometimes I miss seeing ur face, but the podcast is so much more productive. I cook, work out, go on walks and do other hobby’s while listening. AND I get to hear you talk about so much more because the episodes are longer here. Im so happy you posted your most recent episode. “The truth about YouTube”. Because I wasn’t sure why you had been on a pause, but I’m so glad you shared and I’m so sorry you’ve felt that way for years. Just take ur time, heal and grow. hi emma. i’ve been listening to your podcast for a very long time now, and this is truly my favorite podcast. you are the only person that have made me feel so much less alone when it comes to anxiety, being alone but not feeling lonely. liking being alone, and how that makes me feel. when in social situations, feeling stressed and exhausted after a couple of hours.. i have never had a friend or just someone that i could relate to with these types of things. so, listening to your episodes, especially about these topics, it just makes me so happy. the feeling to know that someone else feels the exact same way you feel, and someone you actually can relate to. i love everything you talk about in your episodes. more “deep” things and more kind of casual things. thank you for doing what you’re doing, and speaking on these topics. i know so many people feel so much less alone, and happy when a new episode comes out <3 your podcast and youtube are safe space for many people. thank you and i love you.💙
