Pacers Lose Game One. Dustin Dopirak & Stephen Holder Join!

(00:00-27:45) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing their thoughts on the way game one ended last night between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers. Their biggest concern out of the finish to last night’s game was how Tyrese Haliburton totally disappeared in the fourth quarter as a scorer.

(27:45-42:54) – After briefly discussing Tyrese Haliburton in the first segment, Jake and Jimmy have a further discussion as to whether this is the kind of player that Haliburton is or is struggles after the hamstring injury a byproduct of being rushed back to play.

(42:54-49:37) – Hour one concludes with Jake sharing his thoughts and some notes regarding the suspensions that Team Penske handed out to members of Josef Newgarden’s team for the Push to Pass rule they broke.

(49:37-1:12:17) – IndyStar Pacers beat reporter, Dustin Dopirak, joins Query & Company from New York to weigh in on the disappearing act that Tyrese Haliburton performed after the first quarter, explains why the Pacers are optimistic about being able to pull out a series win after last night’s game, attempts to figure out how the Pacers can slow down Jalen Brunson to prevent another forty point game, and tries to paint a picture as to what he’s looking at from New York.

(1:15:18-1:28:37) – Following their conversation with Dustin Dopirak, Jake allows Jimmy and Eddie to ask him questions about the suspensions that were announced by Team Penske today. The biggest question that Jake answered was whether Roger Penske made this decision to make sure everyone is aware that he’s holding his team to the highest standard.

(1:28:37-1:33:13) – Jake and Jimmy conclude the second hour of the program with Jake pointing something out about the organist at Madison Square Garden.

(1:33:13-2:00:52) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins the program with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook to assess if we still have any clarity on whether Anthony Richardson is injury prone or not, shares what he knows about where he is at with his shoulder surgery recovery, if he anticipates Richardson meeting up with his new receivers to start developing chemistry, shares his latest notes on how Jim Irsay is doing, and then makes a pitch for someone to go to the University of Miami.

(2:00:52-2:15:37) – Jake and Jimmy come back from break and welcome the Pacers fan that was yelling by the TNT microphones during the Milwaukee series at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Additionally, Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie give away a pair of tickets for a caller to answer show trivia for Carb Day and Indianapolis 500 Qualifications.

(2:15:37-2:21:30) – Today’s show ends with Jimmy sharing his JCook Plays of the Day and JMV joining the guys in studio to share his thoughts on the game one loss for the Pacers.
