On January 2, 1929 Eddie Shore missed the team train, leaving North Station in Boston for their game in Montreal. With an incoming blizzard canceling all trains and planes north, Shore decided to drive over 300 miles to the game with a terrified chauffeur. What happened next ended up being a legendary sixteen hour journey.
