Players Only Drew Steele

On this episode of Players Only, Drew talks to Trevor Koenig of the SCSU baseball team and Bobby Goepfert, former goalie for SCSU. 

During Koenig's interview, Drew and Trevor talk about his successes on the hill this season. Drew also dives deeper into his height.  For those who don't know, Trevor is 6'11" and played basketball in high school.

Then, Drew sits down with former SCSU goalie, Bobby Goepfert.  Goepfert is the current goaltending coach at BU, who the Huskies play this week.  We didn't dive into the game, but instead, we focused on his time at St. Cloud State.

In this week's episode of players only, Drew sits down with Matt Quade of the baseball team and Nick Perbix of the men's hockey team. 

During Quade's portion of the episode, Drew and Matt discuss how nice it is that baseball is back.  Matt dives in deep about his baseball career arc and his future profession.

When Perbix's portion of the episode, Nick and Drew talk about old times at Elk River Youth Hockey.  They also talk about a future golf match.

Episode two has arrived.  Drew is joined by SCSU softball's own Sydney Lapoint.  Drew sits down with her to talk her about her no-hitter against Truman State over the weekend.  He is also joined by SCSU men's hockey's Brendan Bushy.  Drew talks a little bit about Bushy's first career goal over the weekend, but a lot of the interview focuses on his youth and high school careers at Thief River Falls.

The episode starts off with a monologue from Drew describing what the episode will be.

After the monologue, he is joined by senior forward for the SCSU Women's Hockey team Laura Kluge.

Later in the podcast, Drew interviews sophomore guard on the SCSU Men's Basketball team, Anthony Roberts.  Roberts was recently named NSIC North Player of the Week.
