    Episode 131 - BMG:VfB ... 1:3 and Dr. B (and VfB) are back!

    The international break is over and we know what you need! US! Or a big VfB win on the road! Or both. But mostly the win! Matt, Ted, and Travis are back to give some Shout Outs to the Frauen, VfBII, and the sweet, sweet, new Champions League kits! Part Two breaks down the win on the road with special attention given to the tale of two halves, the play of Deniz and Demi, the improving play of Anrie and Jeff, the impact of the bench, and a bit of applause to old friend* Dr. Brych for making history. News & Q's in Part Three is Champions League heavy as the guys look at the schedule, the money, and the roster rules of the most elite tournament in all of football and ends, of course, by pandering to a potential sponsor. As you'd expect! Episode 131 wraps up with a look at the week ahead, a "let's have fun" match versus legendary Real Madrid and then what will no doubt be an emotional roller coaster versus a certain club from Dortmund. All that and talk about how much a Maxi Middle-Sized State kit might cost!

    A feel good match followed by a head scratcher means we've got to call in extra support for episode 130, and that's just what we do as Hannes, Doug, and David help provide some hot takes on the week that was, ranging from who is going to play defense to who is going to play offense all the way to where is Silas going? Part One throws some Shout Outs to the Frauen, the team shop, and the newest American OFC, VfB Twin Cities! Part Two looks at the "get right" match in the Pokal as well as the head scratcher against Mainz where, we have to admit, more than just good 'ol Timo was off when it came to the play on the pitch. Part Three's News & Q's celebrates the Champion's League draw and the newest member of the German National Team, one Ange Stiller! Episode 130 ends with a brief look at the upcoming matches that take place after the international break in which the guys hope VfB can figure some things out before playing a pesky little club called ... Real Madrid!

    In this episode Matt and Travis try to convince everyone EVERYTHING IS OKAY! Part One includes Shout Outs to the Frauen, the Team Shop, VfB2, and Highland Scotch. Part Two breaks down the match, a disappointing start to the season in which the guys wonder what was the biggest factor - the missing players, the lineup, the offense, or just simple mistakes. Part Three deals with some News & Q's, and we share our condolences for former coach Christoph Daum and then answer Q's regarding all things VfB. Part Four looks at the much needed "get me right" match taking place Tuesday as well as the home match against a usually tough Mainz club. All that and we have new transition music! Kind of. Enjoy!

    Episode 128 - Season Preview!

    NOTE: Apologies for the first 90 seconds as our audio cut out and the intro music didn't upload correctly. But if you use your IMAGINATION you can IMAGINE the intro music?! How's THAT for professional?! The first official episode of the new season begins with welcoming back four friends of the show, Hannes, David, Doug, and a bunch of midwestern insects, as they all give us their quick thoughts on the upcoming season! Part Three takes a quick look back at the dumbest trophy in the world, the SuperCup, as the guys use the emotions from Inside Out 2 to channel their inner rage at losing the dumbest trophy in the world. Ahem. Part Four is a look at OFC VfB Americana's survey regarding the upcoming season and the guys chat who's going to be the player of the season, the newbie of the season, and the "that guy is still on the roster?" player of the season. Part Five wraps up the episode with a look at the opening match of the Bundesliga season, where VfB heads to southern neighbors Freiburg to exact some much needed winning! All that and some cicades!     It's a bonus episode and we chat the news of the day, namely, our former captain, one Waldemar Anton. Matt, Ted, and Travis attempt break the news down analytically and emotionally before trying to ponder what is the "Sebastian" factor in all of this and what, if anything, do players wearing the brustring owe those that support them? Along the way we open and close with a pretty cool tune that has some pretty significant messages for all of us - including you Waldi! - regarding ... bridges. Apologies for some of the technical issues as we're working through - or against - our new pod platform. Yeesh.
