Ajay Devgn was stopped on his way to Mumbai's film city yesterday, the actor's car was stopped by a person who has been identified as Rajdeep Singh. Rajdeep stopped Ajay's car for 15 minutes in Goregaon and questioned the actor for not speaking in support of the ongoing farmers' protest. He was later arrested and taken to Dindoshi police station. Ajay Devgn kaayar hai hashtag was trending today on Twitter. Maharashtra minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik on Wednesday alleged that the house of Bollywood celebrities Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu were raided by the Income Tax officials because they spoke against the Narendra Modi-led government. Congress leaders and social media users seen saying the same things about the raids.

In his mail to the association, Jaffer added that many talented players were missing the opportunity to learn and improve because of the existing environment. Hailed to be an Indian alternative to popular social networking site Twitter, KOO has been surrounded by the controversy around leaking user data. While on one hand, the company confirmed users' data to be safe, a known ethical hacker found the app to be leaking personal data. The app shot to fame amidst the recent row between the government of India and Twitter, where several union ministers created their accounts on KOO and asked people to follow them as well. "We are not presently monetizing and hence don't have the need to share data with any third party. So that is safe. We will innovate and always try and figure a way to monetize that is not a risk to users," says Aprameya Radhakrishna, CEO, and Co-founder, KOO. Some hoardings are generating a lot of buzz on social media after a girl apparently made her feelings clear about her boyfriend, or so it seems. Posters reading 'Siddhi hates Shiva' has been spotted in many parts of the country ahead of Valentine's Day. The posters also had a heart that was struck off.

The child rights body said that the contents of the show may result in the abuse and exploitation of children. NCPCR issued a notice to the streaming platform and asked for a detailed report within 24 hours on the action taken by it, failing which it said that it would initiate “appropriate legal action” against the streaming platform.

The Opposition required 45 votes to win the motion. Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is the latest to join the "Pawri ho Rahi hai" trend kicked off by a Pakistani influencer. The CM used the viral trend to spotlight how those involved in the illegal land activities are "running away" from his state.

The result of Mohali Municipal Corporation will be declared after repolling. With the landslide victory, Congress has managed to write off Shrimoni Akali Dal. Aam Adami Party, which also tried woo farmers during their anti-farm law agitation, has completely failed to impress the voter. In most municipal bodies, AAP did not even a single seat. A total of 9,222 candidates were in the fray for election to 2,302 wards of the eight municipal corporations and over 100 municipal councils and nagar panchayats in the state. The polling for these seats was held on February 14. A Delhi court on Wednesday dismissed former Union minister MJ Akbar's criminal defamation complaint against journalist Priya Ramani. In his defamation suit, MJ Akbar had claimed that Priya Ramani caused damage to his "stellar reputation" by accusing him of sexual harassment in an article written in 2017 and a tweet posted in 2018. Ramani countered Akbar saying that she said what actually happened. "Truth is my defence," Priya Ramani said. While delivering the verdict, the Rouse Avenue House Court observed that "even a man of social status can be a sexual harasser".The Mandarin duck, first spotted by Madhab Gogoi, a birder and tour guide from the Tinsukia district, has returned to the wetland after nearly 120 years. According to the birder who first spotted the duck on February 8, the last time the bird was seen in this part of Assam was all the way back in 1902.
