    Kid Goggles #50: Labyrinth w/ Jeremy Keys (co-host! Hardwork Movement!)

    For this milestone episode it couldn’t be anybody else in the guest seat other than KG’s own, Jeremy Keys!  And for Jeremy, there could be no other movie worth revisiting than the 1986 Jim Henson cult-classic: Labyrinth.  Between David Bowie’s performance, David Bowie’s hair, and David Bowie’s bulge — there was plenty to discuss.  Will this movie end up in the Bog of Eternal Stench or is it worthy of Jeremy’s patented display of love — a sheet cake from Acme?  The goblins are taking the Kid Goggles hosts away for the summer, so be sure to listen to Hardwork Movement and the KG catalog all summer long!

    Kid Goggles #49: Life-Size w/ Stacie Lyons (co-host! improv!)

    Shine bright, shine far, this week’s star is none other than KG’s own co-host, the marvelous Stacie Lyons!  Stacie could still remember all the words (and dance moves) to this movie’s theme song, but was this Tyra Banks/Lindsay Lohan vehicle as magical as she remembered?  Did anybody ever realize that Lohan was a sorcerer?  Did anybody arrest the homicidal truck driver that tried to run her down?  And did she see those new shoes at the mall?  Maybe you’ll find out in episode 2 of the “School’s Out for the Summer” series!     Kid Goggles #48: The Rock (1996) w/ AJ de Leon (Engineer AJ!)

    “Welcome to The Rock.”  The iconic words of an aged Sean Connery beckoned a young Engineer AJ to the nearest TV screen for a hypnotic display of gunshots, patriotism, and the one-of-a-kind acting of peak Nicholas Cage.  But does AJ still take pleasure in guttin’ you, boy?  Known by fans mainly through his background laughter, as the guy who does the echo effects, and from his Hot Takes, AJ takes the guest seat for the very first time!  Who would he M.F.K. between the movie’s three leads?  Is Jeremy’s Sean Connery impression actually just Bane?  And how in the name of Zeus’s BUTTHOLE is Stacie supposed to keep her composure around Ed Harris’s baby-blues?  The first episode of three in the “School’s Out For The Summer” series!  Michael Biehn might refuse to give an order, but KG won’t: GO LISTEN NOW.     Kid Goggles #47: The Lost Boys w/ Kate Fruhman (improv!)

    The one thing that the wonderful and hilarious, Kate Fruhman, loved about her childhood? All the damn vampires. Oh, and all the Corey Haim.  Mostly just the Corey Haim.  Book-ended on a VHS tape by The Secret of NIMH and a terrifying Martin Sheen voodoo movie, this ’80s cult-classic became Kate’s secret obsession.     Kid Goggles #46: Class Act w/ Chill Moody (hip-hop artist!)

    WORK THAT BODY and then settle down for Prince and the Pauper meets Kid ‘n Play in this 1992 teen romp starring zero teenagers.  The insanely talented hip-hop artist, Chill Moody, has loved Class Act ever since he was seven and snuck into the theater to see Duncan and Blade avoiding crop-top-wearing drug dealers and thirsty AF teachers, and then lay down an anti-drug rap at a party thrown by the one-and-only Paulie Shore aka The Weasel.  Class is in session, buh-uuhddieees!     Yo Wasteoid, you think The Breakfast Club is beyond reconsideration? Improviser and repeat guest, Chris Esperance (ep# 20– Bad Boys), thinks this quintessential piece of ’80s cinema might not be able to hold its smoke in 2018.  Was he right?     Kid Goggles #44: Street Sharks w/ Pim Van H (improv!)

    SHARK DIVE into this “jawesome” TMNT rip-off that served as the re-introduction to American cartoons for the unbelievably funny, Pim Van H! Pim once dreamed of becoming Tim Jones, an all-American oceanographer, but a rat-tail and a fear of the bends stood in his way.  Fortunately, Street Sharks was there as a sort of wish fulfillment for Pim, inspiring him to chomp up invisible foes in the shallow end of his community pool.  But all these years later, can Jab, Streex, Slammu, and Ripster still inspire such vigilantism?  And did anyone ever take care of Fission City’s smog problem?
