Banjo is a wine professional, with a background in fine dining restaurants, international wine imports and sales.

After growing up on the floor of his parent’s restaurants, Banjo’s future was never in doubt. After working in London and Sydney, he moved to Melbourne to assume the GM role at internationally-acclaimed restaurant Attica, whilst at the same time starting a fine wine import business.

He then went on to open his own wine bar and then subsequently an Italian restaurant.

He has since sold these businesses and focusses his time growing Australia’s most personalised online wine business Good Pair Days, as well as a food/wine/hospitality forum called GROW

He has twice been awarded ‘Best Sommelier in Australia’, and is a recognised wine judge, having been Chair of the Adelaide Review Hot 100 wine show for 3 years.

His greatest achievement is becoming a father, meaning that he no longer believes in weekends and drinks coffee tri-daily.
