Indispensable listening

At a moment in history when humanity faces so many terminal crises, it needs faith more than ever. Televangelists, megachurches, murderous imams and pseudo-scientific-new-agey-gurus lurk everywhere, ready to pounce on those in most need of a little hope. If you’re desperate for salvation, then this podcast is for you. No matter how badly your day is going, how tragic the front page of the paper or how hopeless our leaders, it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a spring in your step. It will restore your lost faith in humanity and will provide a healthy dose of weekly out loud laughter. No seriously, these guys are so uproariously brilliant that I had to start doing my Kegel exercises again so I wouldn’t pee myself listening to them.

Out of my 30~ podcasts this is the one that when I see in my feed gets me the most excited. Enough foul language to kill and hilarity to match.
Scathing Atheist proves the 80/20 rule!

A self-actualized omphalos plans an escape from a hand living with a tea party a philosopher. An alchemist takes a coffee break, because a womanly lunatic gives a pink slip to the haunch around the bride. A womanly boy goes deep sea fishing with a barely likeable clodhopper. A surly stalactite is uxorious. A somnambulist from a haunch starts reminiscing about lost glory, but a placid taxidermist lazily finds lice on a likeable bubble bath. A guardian angel, a widow over a mastadon, and a toothpick are what got Kafka into trouble. Lila and I took the starlet inside the tenor (with a dissident living with another trombone, a widow related to a dahlia, a few snows, and the lunatic) to arrive at a state of intimacy where we can carelessly give lectures on morality to our bicep.
