I’m a small-town-turned-big-city girl - originally from beachy Santa Barbara. I went to school in LA (Fight On, Trojans!), did my “real” growing up as an adult in NYC, and now reside in San Francisco, CA.
I’m the Founder & CEO of Silk + Sonder, a San Francisco-based, VC-backed self-care and self-improvement brand that uses guided journaling, emotional health tracking, and other research-backed techniques from CBT, positive psychology, bullet journaling, and personal development frameworks to help women across every generation (Gen Z through Boomers) improve their daily wellbeing and accelerate their personal growth. With customers in all 50 states, thousands of 5-star reviews, and millions in revenue, Silk + Sonder is leading the charge in solving our loneliness epidemic by offering easy-to-use, fun, and effective tools for connection, belonging, and self-fulfillment.
Prior to Silk + Sonder, I was a software engineer and product manager for Goldman Sachs, Stitch Fix, The Muse, and Fueled.
As a solo, technical, South Asian American female founder, many odds were stacked against me. I bootstrapped my business as a nights-and-weekends project and built a product people loved before deciding to quit my job and raise capital. Taking a bet on myself was the best decision I’ve ever made.
I launch digital courses and e-books on entrepreneurship and personal development, lead immersive professional and personal growth workshops for companies, and advise founders and leaders on leveling up their mindset, business and lives.
Life’s too short to not be in the driver’s seat of your life. -

Regardless of what phase of life they may be in, I help women conquer fears, increase their confidence, develop laser sharp focus, and take action.
Whether they want to create generational wealth for their families through business creation, achieve long sought-after goals, turn hobbies into income, escape burnout, or redefine their life’s purpose, I support them as they create the lives they want and deserve.
Personally, I'm a serial learner who loves to share strategies for living a fulfilling life. Professionally, I have more than 25 years of experience in the world of corporate finance, I've launched several successful businesses, and I am passionate about supporting and uplifting women.
