She had a position in foreign affairs and trade, spent 14 years in the private sector, and was formerly Mayor of the Southern Downs Regional Council. Tracy Dobie has experienced leadership in many different ways. Tracy was most recently the president of the Warwick Chamber of Commerce before she retired last year.

Our guest for this episode has built her career working in the professional association and profit-for-purpose arena across an eclectic and diverse range of industries. Having attained her first C-Suit role in her late 20’s, Helen Jentz has continued in Executive roles with state and national organisations including the Australian Medical Students Association, Diabetes Australia and our very own Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce.

Her current role is heading up the Australian College of Educators, the longest serving, most prestigious professional association for educators in Australia.

Our guest for this episode has had a successful career in government, working across multiple jurisdictions, starting with the New Zealand Government in the mid-1990s. Currently Jeff is a senior executive with the Queensland Government where he leads tourism industry development, ensuring Queensland has the infrastructure, connectivity, and strategic positioning it needs to sustain and grow its tourism industry.

Our guest has held a number of lead high-profile roles in government and private enterprise. With positions like Deputy Director-General for the Department of Housing and pUblic Works and Chief Executive Officer of Darling Downs and West Moreton Public Health Simone Finch knows how policy can steer an organisation.

Simone is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary of the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute.

Our guest for this episode began her professional life in marketing spending more than a decade in the consumer packaged goods industry in Canada. Since moving to Australia, Kelly Hamlet has worked as a marketing and sales manager for the water industry before becoming Policy Advisor and now Lead Business Partner (Service Improvement) for our very own USQ.
