Phar Lap Part Two - Sports Bizarre

After four starts, Phar Lap had come last and his best finish was seventh. He needed a win badly, as did his trainer Harry Telford who was deeply in debt to everyone.

As Phar Lap's three-year-old season started, no one could have predicted what the unfancied horse was about to unleash on the Sydney spring carnival.
