With so many people out there selling snake oil to the willing, it’s great to hear a podcast that tells you the truth. If you believe a cream will do the same thing as a face lift then you should listen to why it won’t from these guys.

I have seen a few people who say that having 2 men talk about products that are marketed primarily at women is condecending, or even mansplaining. I don't see how having scientists who play a roll in developing these products explaining both how they actually work, and how marketers mislead consumers, is condecending. In my opinion, it is much more condecending for marketers to tell their consumers that a microgram of Vitamin X is going to cure us from aging, and rely on us being too ignorant to seek out the science behind their claims. If anything, this podcast empowers women by giving us real information that beauty companies won't give us, meaning that it will be more difficult for them to advertise to us that their new wonder ingredient will cure us from all our socially engineered insecurities. Moreover, the information is presented in a very easy to understand and engaging way. Thank you for making this podcast!

This is a great listen for anyone who likes to know the science behind products that get pushed on us on a daily basis. I've been listening to this from New Zealand for a couple of weeks now, and it has really changed how I shop for personal care items. Most Beauty Products are very expensive here, so knowing what to look for at the back of the bottle is crucial in the quest for great value for money. I'm also a hairdresser and part owner of a Salon, it's sometimes very hard to give customers honest advice which is something we've been striving to do ever since we've opened our shop, after listening to a couple of episodes on how conditioners work we're ready to ditch our "organic" shampoo supplier as it's making unsubstantiated claims. So thanks to Randy and Perry I've learned lots of new things, relevant to my personal and work life. Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to every new show now
