    131: Navigating Hashimotos and Advocating for your health with Samy Aberasturi

    This week's guest, Samy Aberasturi lost 60lbs and put her Hashimoto's Disease into remission but advocating for her health. Samy had been fighting an autoimmune disease since 2019 and for two years, she fought with doctors about something not being right with her health. Samy was told by one doctor that it was normal to feel tired as a mama and was told by another to just take a thyroid pill. After not accepting those answers, Samy kept searching for a doctor who could actually help her. She found a naturopathic doctor who listened and she finally got her diagnosis of Hashimoto's disease. Samy helps others with Hashi's to reclaim their lives but not being their diagnosis.
