This podcast series is part of a dissertation to complete a Master's degree in Science and Health Communication in Dublin City University (DCU).It will include patient-led interviews with diabetes professionals and interviews with people living with T2D.The aim of the dissertation / podcast is to find out what people know about T2D and the possibility of remission, what they would like more information on and provide a resource that gives them the info that they need to take control of their own health and manage T2D effectively.For more information on the study or to get involved in patient interviews please email the lead researcher Olivia Crinion - olivia.crinion2@mail.dcu.ieApproval for this study has been granted by Dublin City University.

This is the final episode in the T2D Podcast.......... for now
I hope that it has been of help to you in managing your health and type two diabetes. Thank you to everyone who helped in the study; answered questionnaires, gave interviews and sent lovely emails, I am so grateful.
In this episode, I will be sharing what I have learned about type two diabetes, its causes and how to treat it. The most important thing that I have learned is that it is up to every one of us to arm ourselves with the most up to date information to take charge of our own health; and be our own expert.

The T2D Podcast - Prof. Derek O'Keeffe - Clinical Lead for the National Clinical Programme for Diabetes
This is the fourth episode in the Patient-led T2D Podcast which aims to give you the answers to the questions that you want to know about type two diabetes.
This episode Prof. Derek O’Keeffe, the Clinical Lead for the National Clinical Programme for Diabetes will be talking to us about the way that type two diabetes is currently being managed in Ireland and the changes that are happening in the future.

The T2D Podcast - Jimmy
The is the first patient podcast in the Patient-led T2D podcast - thank you so much to Jimmy for sharing his experiences of living with type two diabetes with us.

This is the first episode in the patient-led type two diabetes (T2D) podcast which aims to give you the answers to the questions that you want to know about type two diabetes.
