    From facing life-altering decisions to navigating daily challenges, in this week's episode I explore the power of our thoughts and how they shape our experiences. In particular, I am focusing on the world of cognitive distortions, uncovering the unhelpful thinking styles that hold us back from reaching our full potential. 
    By recognising these distortions, such as all-or-nothing thinking, overgeneralization, and personalisation, we learn to take responsibility for our lives and choose different thoughts that lead to positive change.

    Not all positivity is toxic, but there is potential for it to do more harm than good. This week I share my views on toxic positivity from my journey with it and the knowledge I’ve gained through further development. 
    The recognition of toxic positivity in your life, whether it’s something you do or have been subject to, is part of the journey back to self. This episode may be confronting for you, so after listening I really encourage self-compassion.

    Let’s debunk the myths about emotions! Last week I talked about how to feel your feelings, so this week I am taking it one step further by talking about some common misconceptions and why I believe that emotions are not inherently negative or positive.
    During the episode I also recount my own shift towards embracing my emotional side and the realisation of the importance of crying.
