About Jarrod and Anita Roussel
Jarrod is a Physician Assistant and Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Anita is a nurse with her BSN and Certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She’s a southern girl through and through, raised in rural northwest Georgia where her parents owned and ran a restaurant serving down-home Southern cooking.
Years ago when Anita’s health suffered, they tried to find answers to the traditional route without success. They knew there must be something they could do to turn things around! For Anita, this way of living had to be simple, enjoyable, and delicious if she was going to do it for a lifetime.
After digging through the research and learning solid, science-backed nutritional principles, she was able to get rid of pain and autoimmune symptoms, lose extra pounds and regain the energy she'd been missing for years!
This inspired Anita to use her childhood experiences of growing up in her family's restaurant to transform the process of using food to heal.
