Very touching

I love listening to the stories here. Most recently I love the story of Dusty the Danger Dog. First time I ever cried listening to your podcast 😭. I can relate so much since I also adopted a dog who is really my best friend that I love so much!! It’s good that you also feature stories on relationships with fur babies and friends 😊
Go back to the old format

Please go back to the old format of having the essay read first before having the discussion with the writer of the essay. This new format does not work and ruins the Modern Love listening experience.

The essays are already beautiful by themselves, but the readings and the sound design further humanize the stories. I love how the interview part makes you understand the writer more and grounds their stories to the present, and how the editor makes sense of all of it at the end. I listen to this in the car, and it instantly breathes life to my otherwise dreary trips.
One episode is all it takes

I swear it took one episode for me to fall in love with this podcast. Such an awesome way to end a busy workday. Truly heartwarming and touches the human heart and soul.
