    Hello and welcome to Bill vs the MCU!     The Anniversary Brothers – Captain America: The Winter Soldier 10th Anniversary

    Josh and Aaron are here to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, one of Josh’s all-time favorite movies. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a superhero film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Captain America, created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. It opened in theaters on April 4, 2014.  The sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger, the movie follows Steve Rogers AKA Captain America (Chris Evans) as he unravels a conspiracy involving an assassin known as the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). Aiding Cap are Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie). Other characters include S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and World Security Council Secretary Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford). Winter Soldier opened to acclaim from critics and audiences. It grossed $714 million worldwide, almost double its predecessor’s gross. It earned one Oscar nomination for Best Visual Effects. Aaron and Josh talk about their history with the movie before going into its plot, characters, themes, and action. The two also discuss the future of the Captain America franchise.
