It influenced Indonesian societies through what we know as "storytelling," such as films which nowadays could be widely accessed through video online streaming platforms like Netflix. We grew up with those kinds of storytelling and many people then became a director and create new local storytelling based on what they watched from the cultural trends of the global media. In this episode, I and my friends from VCD President University, Ervio Citra (Citra), and Indhy Agustya (Bora) are gonna discuss this phenomenon from what we have learned in cultural studies class.
