Janelle Yip is one part of the three person crew of fun loving, hard charging skiers, The Blondes. Earlier this year The Blondes released their film, "How Did We Get Here?" , which answers that exact question, sharing a quick look into the histories of the three athletes and friends. Janelle or "JY" as she is usually called made her way to Revelstoke after growing up in Calgary with the goal of becoming a pro skier. There she met Tonje and Emily and formed The Blondes! We talk about JY's summer job fighting forest fires in BC and how that led to her working on a soon to be released film, from HDWGH producers CK9 Sudios, portraying the dangerous job. We also chat about overcoming her bad concussion, the evolution of the Blondes, inspiring the next generation of skiers, naps and much more.
