WTAF: Let’s stop pressuring women to have kids

WTAF!? Controversial topics in bite sized portions. When you only have time for a quick fix, but you’re wanting something spicy!

In this week’s episode of WTAF we’re talking about the pressures on women to have kids, especially in our age bracket. We’ve noticed this so much amongst our family and friends and wanted to talk about why we think it’s so important to let women make their own decisions about what they want their family unit to look like.

We also chat about recent stats published by She’s on the money podcast, about the financial impact having children has on women, and how DINKS (dual income no kids) are on the rise.

Tune in for all the spicy goss! And once you’ve listened, let us know what you think!

In this week’s chat we’re joined by the amazing Callie, an Allied Health Professional working in the eating disorder space. Callie chats to us about how we approach body image with our children. We discuss what kind of impact our actions and words about our own bodies can have on our kids, from as early as the age of two.

Callie is an allied health professional, founder of CA Support and a Mum who works in the Eating Disorder treatment space. She is passionate about all things eating disorders, disordered eating, diet culture, trauma and neurodivergency. 150. Three Years of Baby Brain! Our Podcast Peaks & Pits

    150. Three Years of Baby Brain! Our Podcast Peaks & Pits

It’s our birthday!!!! Three years ago little Hannah and little Emma sat in front of their little microphones not knowing if they’d record anything remotely interesting, or if they’d just end up throwing it in the bin.

And here we are now with an INCREDIBLE community of parents joining us every week to learn more about parenting, and hopefully have a laugh along the way. In this week’s episode we’re celebrating 3 years of podcasting by reflecting on the ups and downs over the past few years, our best and worst times of the podcast, and answering some listener questions.

If you’re an OG listener or if you’re new here, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for joining us, the podcast wouldn’t exist without you. A massive thank you to all of our amazing guests over the past 3 years who have set aside time to make us laugh, cry, and share their wisdom on parenting. And of course a huge thanks to our sponsors who trust us with their brands and support the production of the podcast. You're the best!
