80. Descent into Midnight
Rich Howard, Richard Kreutz-Landry, and Taylor LaBresh are the design trio behind Descent into Midnight. This aquatic PbtA game about community and emotion defies genre, so we make a bunch of ocean puns and get really heartfelt about stuff.

78. Into the Heart with Grant Howitt and Chris Taylor
Grant and Chris are back, and things have only gotten weirder. Below the Spire lies the Heart, an ever-changing district of chaos and horror where you really shouldn't be going. You're going anyway? Of course you are. We talk about why that's a terrible, terrible idea. (CW: Body horror)
thoughtful, in-depth, and compassionate
Incredibly thoughtful, considerate conversations on a wide variety of topics relating to making games work for you. I began listening for the amazing episodes on accessibility concerns with guest Elsa Sjunneson-Henry, and was delighted to find that every other episode went just as in-depth with its chosen topic. There's a real sense here of wanting to do right by an expanding, complicated community, and to lead the way with compassion and support. Modifier is a great bunch of people as well as a great resource for sparking thought and new opportunities in how you play games.
Came for the boardgames, left because of the political commentary.
A board game podcast her telling people how to vote is pretty entertaining, but that’s not why I was listening.
