    Logging In:

    Head to yourURL.ptbopodcasters.ca/wp-admin
    Enter your username and password as provided to you in the wlecome email you received after signing up
    Prove you aren’t a robot
    Enjoy the spectacle that is your dashboard

    Posting your first post:

    Click on Posts > Add New
    Fill in a title and the content of your post, then hit Publish
    Click on the permalink below the title to view your post.

    Publishing Podcast Episodes

    Hello again! How the heck does a podcaster put their beautiful, heartfelt work on this crazy old internet for their adoring audience? Well, watch this video and behold as all the mysteries are be revealed.

    In brief:
    Publishing an Episode:

    Head to your dashboard
    Click on Podcast > Add New
    Fill in a title and put in some text or images as post content
    Scroll down to Podcast Episode Details and select Upload File
    Click on Upload Files to upload your episode from your computer
    Wait
    Once the file is finished uploading, fill in some details in the fields on the right, then hit Select
    Scroll up and hit Publish
    If you want to, you can insert a media player for your episode by hitting Insert Media above the text editor and selecting your file.

    Getting Subscribers:

    You can get subscribers by giving them your RSS feed URL, which will be yourURL.ptbopodcasters.ca/feed/podcast

    Got your podcast all ready for the world to see? Well let’s figure out how to put your feed onto the iTunes directory so random people from around the world can find your work!

    In brief:
    Getting on iTunes:

    Head to your dashboard
    Go to Podcast > Settings
    Head to Feed Details, and ensure you have chosen a Primary Category and a Cover Image that is at least 1400 x 1400 pixels (but less than 3000 x 3000 pixels)
    Move over to Publishing, and copy your Complete feed URL
    Navigate to podcastsconnect.apple.com
    Log in with an Apple ID that you have used on iTunes on a computer at some point
    After logging in, create a new podcast by hitting the plus and/or pasting the Complete feed URL into the RSS Feed URL field
    Hit Validate
    If everything is Green, hit Submit

    If you are getting errors, see if you can fix them in the Feed Details section from before. Otherwise, send us an e-mail and we’ll be happy to help.


    Wait for a few days (usually 24 hours), and you should receive an email telling you that you’re in the directory!
