The Legacy of FDNY Deputy Chief Michael Fahy

On September 27th, 2016 Deputy Chief Michael Fahy of the NYC Fire Department tragically lost his life in the line of duty.  Since then the FDNY has held an annual memorial run to honor Chief Fahy and to raise money for the FDNY Foundation.  This year’s event will be held virtually and all proceeds will go toward FDNY families most effected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Today we speak with Race Director of the #4forFahy, Firefighter Shane Clarke, and President of the FDNY Run Club, Captain Denis Sweeney, about the legacy of Chief Fahy, the history of memorial events in the FDNY and how you can help raise money for first responders suffering most from Covid-19.
Register for the race by donating $10 (suggested) to the FDNY Foundation.
