The American Minutemen were crucial to the defense and preservation of early America and were often times the sole protectors for the communities they belonged to. The early minutemen were coordinated, disciplined, physically fit, well trained, highly mobile, and could deploy within 60 seconds of being alerted. They embodied true personal responsibility and maintained a culture of preparation and readiness understanding that the freedoms they enjoyed were not guaranteed. Today our freedoms, values, and societies are being continually attacked and degraded. We believe that bringing back the culture of the Minutemen may be necessary to stand against this degradation and to prepare for the possible need to defend our families and the communities we live in. Looking back at those who came long before us as an example, we believe it is necessary to adopt and embody that same culture to better preserve our freedoms. We believe in protecting our inalienable human rights as well as our American constitutional rights and believe they are applicable to every person equally. Furthermore, we believe in the value and importance of the Second Amendment and believe that every able-bodied American should be responsible practitioners of this Amendment bearing modern arms and equipment with the willingness to stand up against evil to preserve the freedoms we hold dear. Working to maintain and defend these values we believe in helping to reinforce individual responsibility through education, knowledge, and advice. Helping to inspire and build up a culture of disciplined readiness and coordinated community capable of responding to natural, foreign, and domestic threats within a minutes notice. In this Podcast, we discuss the reality of what it means to be a modern day minuteman and try to provide educational guidance on a variety of topics that tie into that responsibility. This is the Minutemen Initiative
