A technician by trade for the State of Georgia Telecommunications Division, LaMeeka started out by taking a few decorating classes here in there. At the request of fellow co-workers and friends to make “party” and  wedding cakes, the transition was imminent. Shortly thereafter, budget cuts and layoffs affected the state government.
