Thurs 6th Feb: THE HEAD OF PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS

**Message: God is the Head of All Principalities and Powers** --- Today, I want to remind you of the almighty power of our God. He is the head of all principalities and powers, and there is none like Him. The Bible clearly declares His supremacy and authority over all creation. In Colossians 1:16-17, it is written, "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist." This passage reminds us that God is the creator and sustainer of everything. His authority is unmatched, and everything exists by His will and for His purpose. In Ephesians 1:21, Paul speaks of Christ's exalted position: "Far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come." Jesus Christ, our Savior, is above all powers and authorities, both now and forever. His name is above every name, and His power is beyond compare. Furthermore, in Philippians 2:9-11, we read, "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." This passage emphasizes the ultimate authority of Jesus Christ and the submission of all creation to His lordship. As believers, we can take great comfort in knowing that our God reigns supreme over all principalities and powers. No force, no power, no authority can stand against Him. He is our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). --- **Prayer:** Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and praise. We acknowledge Your supreme authority over all principalities and powers. We thank You for Your creation and sustenance of all things. Lord, we declare that You are above every name, and we bow our hearts in worship to You. Strengthen our faith and help us to trust in Your power and sovereignty. Guide us, protect us, and let Your presence be our comfort and strength. We place our lives, our families, and our futures in Your hands, knowing that You are in control. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Pst Leke Toba www.hallelujaheveryday.org +2348023319436 +2348067013664

Wed 5th Feb: THE TRUTH IS BITTER

*Wednesday Diary* Today, I want to speak to you about a fundamental principle that has stood the test of time: the truth. As it is often said, the truth is better and stands the test of time. The Bible repeatedly underscores the significance of truth in our lives. In John 8:32, Jesus said, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." This verse highlights the liberating power of truth. It is a divine key that sets us free from the bondage of falsehood and deception. Here are five important aspects of truth: 1. **Truth Brings Freedom:** - As mentioned in John 8:32, truth liberates us. When we embrace the truth, we break free from the chains of lies and deception. It allows us to live in the light and walk confidently in God's purpose for our lives. 2. **Truth Sanctifies Us:** - In John 17:17, Jesus prayed, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth." The truth purifies and sanctifies us. It separates us from sin and draws us closer to God's holiness. By living in truth, we align ourselves with God's will. 3. **Truth Provides Guidance:** - Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." The truth of God's word provides us with clear guidance and direction in our lives. It illuminates our path and helps us make wise decisions. 4. **Truth Promotes Trust and Integrity:** - Proverbs 12:22 states, "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are His delight." Living truthfully builds trust and integrity in our relationships. It fosters an environment of honesty and transparency, strengthening our bonds with others and with God. 5. **Truth Leads to Eternal Life:** - In John 14:6, Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." The ultimate truth is found in Jesus Christ. By accepting and living in this truth, we gain access to eternal life with our Heavenly Father. **Value of Truth:** - **Stability and Reliability:** Truth stands the test of time, providing a stable foundation for our lives. It ensures that our decisions and actions are based on reliable principles. - **Peace of Mind:** Living in truth brings peace of mind, knowing that we are aligned with God's will and are free from the burden of deceit. - **Strength in Relationships:** Truth strengthens our relationships with others, fostering trust and mutual respect. It lays the groundwork for meaningful and enduring connections. - **Moral Clarity:** Truth provides moral clarity, helping us distinguish right from wrong. It guides us in making ethical choices that honor God and benefit others. - **Personal Growth:** Embracing the truth leads to personal growth and transformation. It allows us to confront our weaknesses and work towards becoming better individuals. In conclusion, the truth is not just a concept but a way of life. It is a divine principle that brings freedom, sanctification, guidance, trust, and ultimately, eternal life. Let us commit ourselves to living in truth, embracing God's word, and allowing it to transform our lives. May the Lord help us to always walk in truth and reflect His light in all that we do. Amen.
