IF THEY CAN TRIGGER YOU…THEY CONTROL YOU

What does it really take to stay calm when everything around you is telling you to panic? For Sam Rosenberg, that question became deeply personal when, as a young college bouncer, a man pulled a gun and pointed it directly at his face. Sam was physically capable, athletic, and accustomed to confrontation—but in that moment, he froze. The experience taught him something that would shape the next three decades of his career: physical strength means very little if your mind can't continue thinking under pressure. Sam went on to serve as a Marine officer before entering the world of close protection, working with high-profile individuals including Warren Buffett and Tom Cruise. Today, through Live Ready, he helps individuals and organizations develop the preparedness, protective intelligence, situational awareness, and decision-making skills needed to navigate difficult situations. But this conversation goes well beyond personal security. Sam and Shahid explore why confidence comes from competence, what it means to become comfortable in uncomfortable situations, and why strong leadership depends on your ability to think clearly while everyone else is reacting emotionally. They also go deep into intuition. Why do we sometimes know something feels wrong before we can explain why? Why do people override that signal? Sam explains how normalcy bias can cause us to rationalize warning signs—and why learning to distinguish genuine intuition from biased or conditioned thinking matters not only for personal safety, but also when hiring people, choosing partners, making business decisions, and navigating everyday life. You'll also hear Sam's perspective on detachment, self-awareness, reacting to other people's opinions, predator selection, and why simply trying to look confident isn't enough. As Sam puts it: "Confidence comes from competence." If you're an entrepreneur, executive, parent, or anyone who wants to become more capable of thinking clearly when uncertainty hits, this conversation offers a very different perspective on what genuine confidence actually looks like. 🔔 Super Entrepreneurs Podcast To watch more videos and get new video updates please subscribe to our channel and stay with us: https://www.youtube.com/@SuperEntrepreneursPod ✅ Stay Connected With Us: 👉 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/officialshahiddurrani/ 👉 SEP Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/superentrepreneurs 👉 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/officialshahiddurrani/ 👉 SEP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/superentrepreneurspod 👉 X: https://twitter.com/officialshahidd 👉 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shahid-durrani/ 👉 Website: https://shahiddurrani.com/ ============================= Chapter Stamps: 00:00 – Meet Sam Rosenberg 01:18 – Protecting Warren Buffett, Tom Cruise & High-Profile Clients 06:08 – The Gunpoint Moment That Changed Sam's Life 11:16 – "It Was Not My Body That Failed Me. Digna DeLeon-Morris: From Losing Millions to Building a $37M Agency

What happens when hard work gets you somewhere, but your beliefs, financial habits, and systems aren't ready to keep you there? Digna DeLeon-Morris knows that experience firsthand. She came to the United States at 17 searching for the American dream, built a career in corporate America, became an entrepreneur, made millions with her husband and then, as Digna shares in this conversation, lost it all in 2016 after realizing they lacked the financial education needed to protect what they had built. She rebuilt. Today, Digna says her insurance agency has generated $37 million in the last 18 months, while helping aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly immigrants and members of the Latino community, build businesses of their own. In this episode of the Super Entrepreneurs Podcast, Digna and Shahid Durrani explore the relationship between identity, money, entrepreneurship, mentorship, systems, and financial freedom. Why can someone work incredibly hard and still remain financially stuck? Why do some people finally make money, only to lose momentum or spend what they've earned instead of reinvesting it? And if you had to rebuild your financial life from scratch, where would you actually begin? Digna shares lessons from her own setbacks, including rebuilding after significant financial losses, learning to think beyond the security of a paycheck, finding mentors, developing better systems, and focusing on becoming the person capable of building and sustaining a business. She also explains why she believes entrepreneurs are always building two things at once: their business and themselves. If you're reconsidering your career, rebuilding after a setback, or simply questioning whether working harder is really the answer, this conversation offers plenty to think about. 🔔 Super Entrepreneurs Podcast To watch more videos and get new video updates please subscribe to our channel and stay with us: https://www.youtube.com/@SuperEntrepreneursPod ✅ Stay Connected With Us: 👉 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/officialshahiddurrani/ 👉 SEP Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/superentrepreneurs 👉 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/officialshahiddurrani/ 👉 SEP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/superentrepreneurspod 👉 X: https://twitter.com/officialshahidd 👉 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shahid-durrani/ 👉 Website: https://shahiddurrani.com/ ============================= Chapter Stamps: 00:00 – Meet Digna DeLeon-Morris 01:32 – Coming to America at 17 and Chasing the American Dream 03:51 – Making Millions, Losing It All and Finding a New Purpose 06:56 – Why Belief Can Determine What You Build 11:39 – Rewriting the "Software" Behind Your Identity 15:23 – Why Hard Work Alone Won't Make You Rich 18:55 – How to Step Outside Your Current Mental Frame 25:02 – What Happens When Your Family Doesn't Understand Your Dream 26:44 – Where to Begin When You Feel Financially Stuck 30:28 – Why Ambition Without Systems Isn't Enough 31:47 – Digna's System for Developing New Entrepreneurs 33:52 – What Keeps People Financially Stuck? 35:04 – How Ego Can Quietly Get in the Way 38:28 – Why People Make Money and Then Fall Back 39:25 – The Financial Setback That Forced Digna to Think Bigger 43:45 – How to Rebuild Your Financial Life From Scratch 49:35 – Why Digna Chose the Insurance Industry 52:59 – Your First 30 Days: Taking Inventory of Your Life 55:24 – What Could Change in 90 Days? 56:42 – Why Smart People Still Make Poor Financial Decisions 57:50 – Rebuilding Confidence After Financial Loss 01:00:17 – The Identity Shift That Changed Digna's Life 01:05:07 – The Financial Skill Digna Believes Matters Going Forward 01:12:22 – Digna's Gift for the Super Entrepreneurs Community Pullout Quotes:  "You can't see the picture if you're in the frame." Matt Dalio Explains Why Creation Beats Consumption

AI is changing the world faster than ever-but are we preparing the next generation for what's coming? In this thought-provoking episode of the Super Entrepreneurs Podcast, Shahid Durrani sits down with Matt Dalio, founder of Endless Studios, to discuss why creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving may become far more valuable than traditional technical skills in an AI-driven economy. Rather than teaching young people to simply consume technology, Matt believes we should help them become builders. Through game creation, collaboration, and hands-on learning, students develop resilience, curiosity, confidence, and the mindset needed to thrive in a future where artificial intelligence is everywhere. The conversation also explores the importance of profitable businesses over vanity metrics, the relationship between mindset and execution, journaling as a leadership tool, why distribution often matters more than product, and how entrepreneurs can build businesses that create both impact and long-term sustainability. Whether you're a founder, educator, parent, or simply curious about where AI is taking us, this episode offers practical ideas and a refreshing perspective on preparing people-not just technology-for the future. 🔔 Super Entrepreneurs Podcast To watch more videos and get new video updates please subscribe to our channel and stay with us: https://www.youtube.com/@SuperEntrepreneursPod ✅ Stay Connected With Us: 👉 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/officialshahiddurrani/ 👉 SEP Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/superentrepreneurs 👉 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/officialshahiddurrani/ 👉 SEP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/superentrepreneurspod 👉 X: https://twitter.com/officialshahidd 👉 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shahid-durrani/ 👉 Website: https://shahiddurrani.com/ Chapter Stamps 00:00 – Introduction & Free Founder Resources 01:30 – Meet Matt D'Alio and Endless Studios 05:40 – Preparing Young People for an AI Economy 09:15 – Mindset vs Skillset: Which Matters More? 13:20 – Why Play Builds Confidence and Grit 18:00 – Finding Joy While Building a Business 22:15 – Building a Profitable Company Instead of Chasing Funding 27:00 – Product vs Vanity Metrics 33:40 – Why Creators Win Over Consumers 35:20 – Journaling for Better Leadership and Clarity 40:05 – Communication as a Superpower 42:40 – The Importance of Distribution for Entrepreneurs 45:40 – Final Thoughts & Closing Advice Pullout Quotes: "The future of the world kind of depends on whether the three billion young people under the age of 25 all are power users of the thing or replaced by the thing." From 1 Tesla to Thousands of Cars: Bootstrapping, EV Marketplace & Passive Income | Rei Vardi

What if your car could earn you a full-time passive income while you sleep? In this episode of the Super Entrepreneurs Podcast, we sit down with Rei Vardi, the founder of Eon, who turned a single Tesla into an 8-figure EV rental marketplace—all without raising a single dollar of outside capital. Rei shares the incredible story of bootstrapping a startup from a college dorm room to managing 3,500+ electric vehicles, building one of North America's fastest-growing EV rental businesses. If you've ever wondered how to build a passive income business, start a successful side hustle, scale a marketplace startup, or why failing to raise venture capital might be the best thing that ever happens to your company, this conversation is for you. Whether you're an entrepreneur, startup founder, investor, or simply looking for profitable business ideas, Rei shares practical lessons on bootstrapping, startup growth, business strategy, and building a scalable business from the ground up. 🔔 Super Entrepreneurs Podcast To watch more videos and get new video updates please subscribe to our channel and stay with us: https://www.youtube.com/@SuperEntrepreneursPod ✅ Stay Connected With Us: 👉 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/officialshahiddurrani/ 👉 SEP Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/superentrepreneurs 👉 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/officialshahiddurrani/ 👉 SEP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/superentrepreneurspod 👉 X: https://twitter.com/officialshahidd 👉 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shahid-durrani/ 👉 Website: https://shahiddurrani.com/ Chapter Stamps 00:00 – Intro 01:21 – From One Tesla to a 3,500-Car Business 03:07 – How Eon Makes Passive Income Completely Hands-Free 05:15 – Why the Founder Owns Only 2 Cars Today 06:50 – Can One EV Become a Full-Time Business? 07:37 – Will Autonomous Cars Replace Car Rentals? 09:20 – Why He Walked Away From a Career in Medicine 11:32 – Someone Robbed a Bank Using His Tesla 13:12 – How Eon Became One of the Safest EV Rental Platforms 16:35 – What Makes Eon Different From Turo? 18:42 – Why Failing to Raise Funding Saved the Company 21:07 – Why Most Mobility Startups Fail 25:44 – How to Turn Everyday Problems Into a Profitable Business 28:20 – The Best Side Business You Can Start Today 30:45 – Is Entrepreneurship Really Riskier Than a Job? 34:00 – Outro #PassiveIncome #EVRental #Bootstrapping #SuperEntrepreneurs #Tesla #SideHustle #Entrepreneurship Pullout Quotes "If it sucks for you, it probably sucks for everybody."
