Claire Fox is a journalist, writer, lecturer and politician.  She has had an interesting political journey from being a member of the Revolutionary Communist Party, to successfully standing as a Brexit Party MEP, to becoming a life peer in the House of Lords.  We got Claire's take on whether the dichotomy of "Left" and "Right" has any weight in a post-Brexit Britain and what she thought of cancel culture.  We really enjoyed sitting down with Claire and discussing all things free speech and we hope you do too!

In the fourth episode of A Pint Of Interest, we sit down and grab a pint with William Clouston.



William Clouston is the leader of the Social Democratic Party, otherwise known as the SDP.  The SDP has seen a recent rise in support over the past year, particularly with the current ongoing pandemic and lockdown restrictions.  They identify as being left leaning on economic issues but right on social ones, so we were definitely keen to find out a little more about where William and the SDP sat on some current issues facing the UK.



We got William's take on some of the key SDP policies and what their opinion is on the lockdown, the planned budget and whether the court ruling on Shamima Begum was the right one or not!

In the third episode of A Pint Of Interest, we sit down and grab a pint with Dominique Samuels.  Dominique is an outspoken centre right political commentator and final year politics student.  She has been both a prominent voice on the lockdown and a critique of the BLM movement.  Dominique makes frequent appearances on Good Morning Britain and TalkRadio and we were really excited to sit down and talk with her about some of the controversies surrounding her recent appearance on Good Morning Britain where she was asked to discuss vaccine passports.  In addition, we got her opinion on our most crazy Woke of the Week so far and asked Dominique what she thought about some of BLM's motives as an organisation.  We might have had a bit too much to drink but this was a really fun episode to record, so much so, that we couldn't keep it down to under an hour - so enjoy our longest episode to date!
