Dennis DiNoia
A+ Parents Podcast

The A+ Parents podcast, Hosted by “Mr. D Math Live” Founder Dennis DiNoia, speaks with parents, homeschool organizations, and homeschool influencers on how to help our students become self-directed learners. Our programs encourage students to discover how to learn vs what to learn and how to teach others what they are learning along the way. Mr. D Math Live programs empower students to correct their work, discover their own ah-ha moments and develop lifelong self-mastery skills. We share tips, tricks and stories from educators on how students can think for themselves by teaching them to operate with free will, accountability, honor, and respect. Our unique approach awakens students to discover their own unique expression of how they view education. They communicate what they’ve discovered and apply their knowledge to “the world outside of a classroom.” We focus on multiple learning styles allowing students to discover their own strengths in how they learn. After all, what does every parent truly want? We all want our children to have a great life beyond what their report card says. That is what it means to be an A+ Parent. Grades are important. But not as important as the lifetime of happiness through self-discovery and knowledge mastery. Welcome to the A+ Parent podcast and thank you for listening. Let's Get To Know Chemexplained! "A Hidden Gem In Homeschool Curriculum" | Richard Risbrudt

Richard Risbrudt, “Mr. Riz” is a high school chemistry teacher of 46 years, teaching at a community high school for 17 years and a private high school for 29 years. After receiving many requests from the homeschool community, including former students who homeschooled their children to develop a high school chemistry course, ChemExplained.com became a reality.   Over the years, Mr. Riz has learned to teach and explain challenging chemistry concepts, problems, and math calculations in words that thousands of students could understand. Students that have taken the college-prep ChemExplained.com course have been very successful in chemistry and other courses at the next academic level.   Richard’s teaching honors include the Ashland Oil Excellence in Education Award, Fergus Falls (MN) Teacher of the Year, "Most Influential Teacher” Award, Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Education Award, and Certificates of Recognition for his teaching from three Minnesota Governors; Rudy Perpich, Arne Carlson, and Jesse Ventura. In the spring of 2018, he was inducted into the Minnesota High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame. A recent quote from Mr. Riz: "I absolutely love helping students of all ages learn and understand chemistry. This is my passion!"   Richard is married to his wife, Denise. They have three grown children, nine grandchildren, and live in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.   Thank you for listening to the A+ Parents podcast. The World Is Our Classroom | Jason Crawford

Jason Crawford is the new lobbyist and Chief Communications Officer for the Home Education Foundation (HEF). He originally approached the HEF offering his marketing skills to increase visibility.    As a father of 4 home schooled children and a husband of 20 years his core passion is strong families and his desire to preserve parental rights and school choice with the least amount of governmental intrusion gives him a vested interest in the work.    In January 2024, he moved his family to Tallahassee to work alongside Brenda as a registered lobbyist. Since joining the team, he has rebranded HEF, created the new website, manages and directs the public communications, speaking engagements, social media, live forum, and the weekly podcasts.    After working with Brenda for a year, Jason is ready to take the torch and move HEF into the future.   FLHEF.ORG     Thank you for listening to the A+ Parents podcast.
