E17 - Interview with Cecily Zeppetella from Upcyle4Change - Upcycled furniture for people in need
EPISODE 17
In this episode of The UpCycle Canada Podcast we spend some time speaking with an amazing person making a difference - Cecily Zeppetella from Upcycle4cChange! Cecily, in her early 20's, has developed a passion for upcycling and then turned that passion into a volunteer led outreach in support of people in need of furniture.
Upcycle4Change runs in conjunction with The Niagara Furniture Bank - a wonderful local charity that believes that nobody should have to sleep on the floor!
Upcycle4Change takes found and donated items and with the help of local volunteers, repairs, restores and refinishes furniture to assist families in our local area.
We discuss how this came to be, how volunteers make this happen, what her current supply needs are, how YOU can help and that if YOU wanted to do something similar in your community, Cecily is willing and able to guide you to make a change for others as well!
We are inspired by a young person who has a passion for others! We are so thrilled to know and support her and help share her story right here on The UpCycle Canada Podcast.
