Dumbed down advice
01/06/2023
So first of all, every episode she relies on a guest to carry the show. She has no content of her own creation probably because it’s obvious she has no expert advice to give. Her guests have exponentially more emotional intelligence than she does. Listening to her interview and interact with her guests (who are legit, unlike her), quite clearly outsmart her on the topic of relationships, is comical. She is not even close to on par with any knowledge of any kind to give advice to her audience. It’s painful listening to her ask unintelligent questions and equally shallow banter as she tries to engage in dialogue with her guests. Even they seem unimpressed with her line of questions. She is seriously lacking the depth to engage the nature of this topic fully. Relationship advice requires true introspection, something the host seems incapable of the more I listened to her talk. I decided to look at the links to her social media accounts. I’m actually quite horrified to discover the narrow minded advice she dispenses to her audience. She subscribes to a level of toxic masculinity that blows my mind. You can hear it in her responses on some of these podcasts but on her instagram and TikTok, it’s flat out disturbing. She plainly negates the importance of perspective between two people in a relationship. She believes the woman should submit to men at all costs. Women are the problem and why men leave. Just give them sex and make him happy. That’s her message. It’s laughable, it’s a male fantasy and she’s selling it. That is dangerous territory. When you can’t bridge the gap of reality, there’s a level of responsibility you need to bear and should be considered. Lack of intimacy is a symptom of a greater problem between 2 people. Hearing her 2D oppressed view on complicated topics in marriage is reckless and irresponsible of her to parrot. People need to grow through conflict something she fails to observe as dual in nature. Beyond this, and even more alarming was on her TikTok page. She’s sexualizing her relationship with her own daughter. Sexually exploiting her own child is next level disgusting to me. Posting sexually suggestive images in lingerie with her daughter, even going so far as to touching her daughters’ breast in a TikTok video, was genuinely disturbing. What’s the message in that exactly? Desperately seeking attention is unattractive. Nobody should be taking advice from a woman who thinks this is normal behavior for a mother. There’s a medical term for this. It’s called MDSA. Please look it up. Get an OF page instead. Don’t pretend to be helping anyone through this maladapted advice. She is reinforcing toxic masculinity to a predominantly male audience. Sexually exploiting her daughter though….her daughter will need therapy to overcome her own mothers behaviors. Competing for attention with your child is a whole other animal, may I suggest you listening to a podcast on narcissism from an actual LFMT? Always check the source of who you’re listening to and consider the quality of the content your listening to. Marriage is a serious topic and not to be taken lightly. Since when is a hairstylist qualified to give relationship advice anyway?
