Gert has also been Visiting Professor (Professor II), University of Agder, Norway and Visiting Professor, Uniarts University of the Arts, Helsinki, Finland. He holds a Honorary Doctorate of the Universities Uppsala, Örebro and Oulu, as well as the Grand Medal of the University of Ghent. His books have won multiple awards, and his highly influential publications have been translated into 18 languages. She is a dedicated teacher who has won numerous teaching awards and gained a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Management, and she is Co-Founder of the Positive Organizational Scholarship Movement and Center for Positive Organisations at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Jane has published over 100 articles and book chapters, edited 13 books and written two books for managers called Energize your Workplace: How to Build and Sustain High Quality Connections at Work and Awakening Compassion at Work, jointly with Monica Worline. Monica is CEO of Enliven Work, a social benefit corporation established as an innovation partner of the Center for Positive Organizations. She is also Faculty Director of Engaged Learning and Innovation at Center for Positive Organizations, and Research Scientist at Stanford University Center for Compassion and Altruism Research. Moreover, Jane is co-founder of Compassion Lab, of which Monica is executive director. The goal of the Lab is to create a new vision of organizations as sites for the development and expression of compassion.
