The Evolution of the Tobago House of Assembly

The modern Tobago House of Assembly (THA) came as a result of a motion moved in 1977 by former President and Prime Minister, Arthur Napoleon Raymond (ANR) Robinson. Owing to that motion, the THA Act of 1980 instituted the modern THA and Mr. Robinson went on to leading the first installation of the modern THA some forty four years ago. However, that THA Act came with significant limitations. Learn about our current status and the vision for the future.
