Subject matter good, sound quality awful

Come on, you are geeks, improve the audio quality
Good discussions

I generaly enjoy the subjects and discussions and while I tend to skip over most of the Hip Trax the conversations keep me listening. The soud quality could really use some improvment though . I like that it doesnt sound over produced and scripted as some podacsts do
Good content, bad audio

I found the discussion itself enjoyable, but the audio quality is abysmal. The host's audio is far too loud, so much so that it clips out sometimes. He also seems unable to maintain a single volume for his own voice. The guests' voices are all at varying volume levels as well, so when listening in the car, I have to decide if I want some people to be blowing out my eardrums or if I want to just turn it down so I can't hear some of the others. Fix your audio issues and you'll have a great podcast.

There is a very fine line between geek and nerd.. some of the writers fall on either side or straddle the line. (Some of the writers/podcasters can't even identify geeky things from non-geeky things.) But of this, I'm sure - while they may be Dads by name, this podcast has (for the most part) nothing to do with being a dad or raising children. Their biggest mistake is consistently getting off-topic. As far as their music taste in HipTrax goes, I can't get my kids to listen.. and, for the most part, I find much of the music unbearable as well. My kids and I have a very strong tendancy towards the geek.. these "GeekDads" (for the most part) don't.
