Not very knowledgeable about classic films

The hostess doesn’t have very much knowledge about classic films and sounds like a dilettante who should stick to Star Wars. She and her guests are often very smug and dismissive and bring a half-assed academic approach to discussing films. They often bring maddening, millennial hot takes about films, directors and actors while not really learning about the times, circumstances and mores of what went in to the making of the works being discussed.

If you love film you will enjoy this podcast. The hosts are always deep but manage to keep it fun too. I look forward to each episode and enjoy learning more about some of my favorite films.
