The main purpose I started the song contest was to inspire musicians to release more music and to generate interest in others music, while providing insight and constructive dialogue from a professional standpoint on how to improve the song submitted. Now, a few months into the HSS Song Contest routine, this segment of the channel has taken on a life of its own! The community it has created and the feedback that has been generated from within the community is amazing! There have been collaborations, friendships, and professional connections made as a result of the contest and so many have claimed that they are learning more and more every single time around. This show is a show that’s simple, fun and easy to understand. I like the honesty that the host has about studio gear and personal taste in musicians lifestyle. It’s amazing 😉 the quality of sound and production values that’s in use on this podcast. I see this quickly becoming the big show on podcasts for guys like myself that are into doing there own production in music and podcasting as well and totally can see myself using some of these tips in my own podcast in the future. The host is a very kind and thoughtful person who has many years under his belt in doing this kind of great work. We can all learn something here even if your not already in music production or just starting to get into it. Robert has a very good way of getting the message across. His way of teaching is really solid and when he explains things just makes sense. I really enjoy listening to his podcasts. I always learn something new. When I have a doubt about a process in my home studio I tune into his podcast, and somehow he knows that's what I needed to hear in order to understand what I was having trouble with. Great, great, great podcast! I give it 5 thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼! Definitely recommend!
